A Berlin pietra dura and micro-mosaic cabinet-cup and saucer
Circa 1805-10, underglaze blue sceptre and blue enamel dash mark, cup with Pressnummer 66 (?), saucer impressed 61 /
The cup of flared form with gilt loop handle, each piece painted to simulate micro-mosaic with a different bird perched on a branch on a pale-brown ground within a circular gilt-edged medallion against a blue simulated pietra dura ground within a broad gilt band embossed with scrolls and palmettes, the rims and interior of the cup richly gilt (very slight rubbing to rim of saucer)
