A Berlin topographical cabinet-cup and saucer
Circa 1830-35, underglaze blue sceptre marks, the saucer with impressed 8 ,,
The cup of flared form with high beaded scroll handle and painted after Eduard Gärtner with a named view Ansicht der neuen Wache, bis zum Königl: Schlosse in Berlin. within a rectangular gilt line cartouche, the ground of both pieces with a band of gilt foliage ovals, flowerheads and foliage, the foot and interior of the cup richly gilt (slight rubbing to rim of cup and to saucer)
