A Berlin gilt-metal mounted Easter-egg
Late 19th Century
Painted with a view of the Berliner Domes with part of a bridge in the foreground within an oval gilt line panel with gilt scrolls and flowerheads, the upper part with a blue-scale pattern border edged with gilt berried foliage, the stopper formed as a gilt and white crown surmounted by a blue orb and gilt cross
