partially glazed white ceramic vase, painted in black, brown, white, and blue ( blue only at the rim; the example in Ramie was painted with a blue background), 1952, one of only a few copies produced, with the 'Edition Picasso' and 'Madoura' pottery stamps on the base, a ¾-in. crack in the glaze at the rim and a few other tiny cracks, otherwise in very good condition
7½ x 9 1/8 in. (190 x 230 mm.)
