Adam Revival
The shaped rectangular banded top engraved with inlay of foliate trails and with a studded edge, above three fluted frieze drawers, on patera-headed square tapering fluted legs and panelled spade feet, with depository label to the underside for Wilkins, Henley

The Earls of Shrewsbury, probably at Ingestre, Staffordshire, and by descent.

Lot Essay

A related serpentine serving-table with satinwood-inlaid flutes was sold anonymously, Phillips London, 22 November 1994, lot 86. Another, but with cluster-columned legs was sold anonymously Sotheby's London, 21 November 1992, lot 79 (£38,500).
