The canted rectangular top with black leather-lined writing-surface above three ash-lined frieze drawers to each side, each side carved with rockwork and foliage, the ends similarly-carved, on leaf-wrapped cabriole legs with scroll terminals, on paw feet with countersunk laburnum castors, the underside of the drawers numbered in Roman numerals
