Late 18th/first half 19th century
Each depicting a modern still-life of fruits in an open landscape at a lake shore, within beige crackled lacquer and giltwood frame, one inscribed in pencil 'OVER FIRE PLACE NO. 12 SIR SPENCERS DRESSING ROOM FACING WARDROBE LEFT BOTTOM' and with green cloth inscribed 'TS 30/9', the other inscribed in pencil '12 SIR SPENCERS DRESSING ROOM OVER FIRE PLACE NO. 12' and green material inscribed 'T.S. 30/11' and white material inscribed 'Smith', and '83/W3', minor losses and restorations
