AN ANGLO-INDIAN IVORY AND PEWTER-INLAID GAMES TABLE

The octagonal sadeli-mosaic banded top centred by a chess-board surrounded by four smaller rectangular games panels, the inlaid frieze with four drawers, one with hinged writing surface and fitted with compartments, another with various-sized and inlaid lidded compartments, with metal finial-shaped pendants under the top and on a spreading octagonal shaft and concave-sided quadripartite base and paw feet marked 'BEADMORE' and 'LOND...', losses to the ivory and metal inlay
