Circa 1755, blue wheel marks, the warmer inscised NI
The tapering cylindrical warmer painted in puce camaieu with insects in flight above elaborate scroll-bordered cartouches of children at play in soldier and peasant dress in landscapes, with two naturalistically modelled and coloured grotesque mask handles and two triangular scroll-moulded air vents beneath painted borders of leaf-swags suspended from rings, the cover with fruit finial and similarly decorated, the food dish with two shell-moulded handles, the associated burner painted with flowers (the warmer with very slight chipping to rims, the associated burner extensively damaged and repaired)
