Ruby-back bowls with anhua dragons on the interior have been published, one included in the Illustrated Catalogue of Ch'ing Dynasty Porcelain in the National Palace Museum, Vol. 1, Taibei, 1980, pl. 139; and another was sold in these Rooms, The Jingguantang Collection, 3 November 1996, lot 561.
Other bowls covered in rich ruby enamel on the exterior but plain on the interior, include one from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, illustrated by S. Valenstein, A Handbook of Chinese Ceramics, p. 252, no. 255; and another from the Paul and Helen Bernat Collection, sold in Hong Kong, 15 November 1988, lot 70.
