A BLUE AND YELLOW 'DRAGON' BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)

The bowl is painted in underglaze-blue around the exterior with two sinuous dragons striding amidst clouds and flames, divided by two shaped cartouches enclosing the characters fu, 'prosperity', and shou, 'longevity', all against a lemon-yellow enamelled ground, the interior with a central medallion depicting a further dragon on a yellow ground (two tiny glaze lines)
