Designed with foliate motifs accented with rose-cut diamond flowers, to a rose-cut diamond border, the jadeite base lightly carved with a lion holding a crown and a motto in Latin, DUM VIVO SPERO, While I live, I hope; probably early 19th century, in a fitted box
