Painted with a continuous garden scene of a standing lady flanked by palm trees and by gentlemen wearing a turban seated at a table, the domed pewter cover inscribed ADH 1458 and moulded in relief with a portrait in profile surrounded by a text, connected with a ball thumbpiece to the loop handle
