A Dutch Delft blue and white two-handled posset pot
Early 18th century
The cylindrical body painted with a peacock and other exotic birds perched on flowering chrysanthemum branches, applied with loop handles and elongated spout to the front with scroll motifs, the conical shoulders decorated allover with stylised foliage, with short upright neck (spout shortened, chip to upper edge)
