Circa 1750, marked for De Porceleyne Byl
(Maandborden) decorated with rustic seasonal scenes underneath a caption inscribed with a month, comprising: Jannúarij with a winterscene of skaters; Febrúarij with a homely scene around a table; Maart with a formal garden; April with a gallant couple in a garden; Meij with a gallant couple in amorous pursuit; Júnij with men shearing sheep; Júlij with peasants harvesting and drinking; Aúgústús with workmen tying up bales of hay; September with peasants picking apples; October with gentlemen tasting wine; November with a family slaughtering a pig; Dezember with lumberjacks gathering wood and skaters to the background (Júlij restored)

If the hammer price of a lot exceeds €110,000 then the premium for the lot is calculated at 23.205% of the first €110,000 plus 11.9% of any amount in excess of €110,000.
