(Neat repair to lower outer corner of title of vol.I, slight damage to frontispiece of vol.I.) Bound to style in modern calf gilt.

First edition of this rare work: only two copies are listed as having sold at auction in the last twenty-five years, it 'contains details of Indian life, as it was presented to members of Captain Back's Expedition.
