A pair of Worcester blue and white moulded two-handled sauceboats
Circa 1760, one with pseudo Oriental workman's mark
Each with two elaborate scroll handles with thumbpieces and with double moulded fluted lips, the exteriors moulded with scrolls and moulded oak-leaf borders enclosing circular Oriental landscape cartouches, the interiors with river landscapes of figures sailing between tree and pagoda-scattered islands, the interior of the lips with diaper-pattern (one sauceboat with both handles reglued and slight rim chip)
