A Derby candlestick group of harvesters
Circa 1758, the sconce slightly later
Modelled as a rustic couple, he wears a pink coat and flowered breeches, seated with a sheaf of corn on his lap, she wears a green bodice and pink drape with a flowered skirt, modelled standing by a scroll-moulded trunk stem on a rococo scroll base, with a tole stem and a replacement Bow sconce (some minor chips)
