An English porcelain rectangular bulb-pot and pierced cover
Circa 1810, perhaps Coalport
Painted with a view of Moscow from the river with boats in the foreground, inscribed to the base in puce A View of the City of Moscow from the Banks of the Mosqua & Near the Convent of Spas Na Novai, the reverse and sides with scrolling gilt foliage ornament, the ends with two shell handles above moulded female masks enriched in gilt, on four square feet, the cover with three flared apertures for bulbs
