Ho Mo Li was born in Beijing and brought up in Beijing and Shanghai. Leaving China in 1961 she married Richard Harris of the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank the following year. Her father was Minister of Agriculture in Chiang Kai-shek's government. After living in many parts of the world she finally settled in the Isle of Man in 1980. Mollee was both a gifted artist and a popular hostess.
