A bergere stamped by Jacob Desmalter, with the same curved back and scrolled arm terminals but executed in floral inalid marble, is illustrated in D.Ledoux-Lebard, Le Mobilier Français du XIXe sile, p.253.
This stamp was employed by François-Honoré-Georges Jacob-Desmalter between 1803-13.
