A CYPRIOT RELIEF-DECORATED RED POLISHED WARE JAR
EARLY BRONZE AGE, 2500-1900 B.C.
The round-based vessel with wide cylindrical neck and narrow everted rim, the twin handles with projecting spur, decorated with dotted wavy and straight bands around the neck and shoulder, repaired with minor restoration, 11½ in. (29.3 cm.) high; a similar ware bottle, the spherical body with twin lugs on the shoulder, each with pierced terminal, the neck with flaring rim pierced for suspension, a serpentine relief band on the shoulder, 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) high; and a similar jug with cylindrical spout, single handle with pierced lug at base of neck opposite, decorated with twin dotted relief bands around neck and shoulder, repaired with minor restoration, both Early Bronze Age, 2500-1900 B.C.
