A CYPRIOT DRAB POLISHED WARE JAR
MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 1900-1650 B.C.
The spherical body with short gently concave neck and twin sharply pointed angular handles, 8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.) high; a Plain Red Polished Ware jug with ovoid-shaped body and 'nipple' base, the neck with cutaway spout and single handle, repaired handle, 12 5/8 in. (32 cm.) high; a similar jug with spherical body, the short neck with cutaway flaring rim, lug at base of neck, restored rim, 7 in. (17.8 cm.) high; and a Plain Red Polished Ware hemispherical bowl with trough spout and a pierced pointed lug on the rim opposite, 3½ in. (9 cm.) high, all Early Bronze Age, 2500-1900 B.C. (4)
