A CYPRIOT INCISED RED POLISHED WARE MODEL OF AN ANIMAL HORN
EARLY/MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 2000-1800 B.C.
Decorated with registers of incised hatches, two pierced holes on rim, 2 in. (10.2 cm.) long; a finely incised bowl of hemispherical form, similar ware, with single pierced lug below the rim, decorated with white infilled linear motifs, hatched triangles around the body connected by herringbone band, with frieze of multiple semicircles above, concentric circles on the base, 3¾ in. (9.6 cm.) diam; another bowl of similar ware, with four lobes around the rim, on short pierced stem, with incised decoration including vertical bands of herringbone, multiple zigzag and semicircles, with restoration, 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) high; and a flat-based bottle, similar ware, the body with short cutaway spout, twin pierced lugs at base of neck, decorated with encircling bands of zigzag, 3 7/8 in. (9.9 cm.) high, all Early Bronze Age, 2300-1900 B.C. (4)
