MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 1900-1650 B.C.
All with dark brown to orange painted linear and cross-hatched decoration, comprising a beak-spouted jug with squat body, the neck with twin pierced lugs and a loop handle at its base; a jug similar, with flared beak spout; a jug with short side spout, the short neck with everted rim and small loop handle, all 5½ in. (14 cm.) high; two spherical-bodied jugs with tall handle, the neck with gently flaring rim, 7½ in. (19.1 cm.) high max.; another in miniature, 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high; two jugs with pinched spouts, one with flattened base, the other with boss at base of neck, both with painted 'eye' motifs, 5¾ in. (14.7 cm.) high max.; a jug with body tapered to small ring base, the slender neck with pinched spout, 5 3/8 in. (13.7 cm.) high; a miniature flask with flattened body, 3 7/8 in. (9.9 cm.) high; two dippers, each with small bowl, short wide neck and with vertically arching loop handle from the rim, 4 in.
