A CYPRO-MYCENAEAN FLASK
LATE BRONZE AGE, 1300-1200 B.C.
With spherical body on ring base, the short neck with everted rim and twin loop handles, decorated on each side with fine orange concentric circles, vertical band of horizontal stripes below the handles, 6¾ in. (17.1 cm.) high; and two Cypro-Mycenaean pithoi, with piriform bodies decorated with orange/brown bands, three loop handles around the shoulder, one with frieze of overlapping scale-motif between them, the other with blocks of multiple right-angled lines, both late Bronze Age, 1300-1200 B.C., 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) and 5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) high respectively, all with minor restoration (3)
