CYPRO-ARCHAIC, CIRCA 6TH CENTURY B.C.
The bearded rider wearing conical headdress, his arms forward holding the horse's upright neck, the horse with flat forelock between the ears, rider unattached, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high; a Bichrome Ware figure of a horse, similar, red and black stripes across its neck, with three leg supports; two others, one with rear leg restored, the other with back legs missing, 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) high max.; and another figure of a horse and rider, restored, 3 7/8 in. (10 cm.) high, all Cypro-Archaic, circa 6th Century B.C. (5)
