TWO GEOMETRIC NORTHERN GREEK BRONZE LIDDED PENDANT PYXIDES

One on stemmed flaring foot, the broad tapering globular body with twin stylized bird protomes, onto which fits a lid with similar flaring protomes and tall knopped handle, the body and lid with holes for attachment, the body decorated with incised encircling lines and diagonal incised bands on each side; and another, the hemispherical body with openwork zigzag foot, the pierced side bird protomes to take a pierced fitted lid with tall pierced knopped handle, similarly decorated
