AN IBERIAN BRONZE VOTIVE FEMALE ORANT
CIRCA 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Of stylized form with a cloak drawn over her head and enveloping her plank-like body, with face, hands and feet emerging from the drapery; and a bronze figure of an ithyphallic warrior, standing naked, with stocky short legs, tall tubular body with prominent navel, head with pinched nose and striated hair, arms and hands curving round in front, wearing a diagonal chest strap with a small circular shield slung over his back and a scabbard at his waist, circa 6th Century B.C.
