Including a Greek lamp with remains of black glaze, early 3rd Century B.C.; a Romano-Egyptian lamp, 1st Century B.C.; another Romano-Egyptian lamp in the form of a stylized 'frog', 3rd-4th Century A.D.; a large group of Roman lamps, some with ring handles, most with disc decorated in relief, including one with two gladiators in combat, another with armed gladiator (repaired), both circa late 1st Century B.C./early 1st Century A.D., other motifs comprising confronting busts of Zeus Serapis and Isis, winged Nike holding a wreath and palm branch, Artemis with bow, a chubby winged Eros, another of Eros holding a torch, a squatting woman (repaired), winged Pegasus, a peacock with outspread tail, a lion, the forepart of a rampant lion, a hound, two with a bird and a branch, some with maker's marks on the base, all circa 1st-3rd Century A.D.; an early Christian red terracotta lamp with two birds between a pedimented architectural façade, circa 5th Century A.D.; and three late Roman lamps, one with palm branch border, another with a central lion and frieze of birds in the border, circa 5th-6th Century A.D., some worn
