The hood with stepped and moulded shallow arch top and silk-backed carved sound frets (later) to the sides, with Dutton mouldings to the door frame and canted and reeded front angles, with conforming trunk door, the plinth with raised panel and stepped base, case with restorations, the silvered dial (restored) signed in its shallow arch Matthew Dutton London above a strike/no strike lever, with engraved Roman and Arabic chapter ring, the centre with subsidiary seconds ring and box date aperture, blued steel hands, the five pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell, with repeat signature and number 330 to the back plate, the flat steel rod pendulum with brass calibrated rating nut; with two brass weights
