A large Canton enamel teapot and cover

of spherical shape with long serpentine spout and bamboo bound arched handle, decorated in various coloured enamels with four oval panels of birds and insects amongst flowering branches, on a pink geometric pattern reserve, below bands of floral cartouches and foliage, the cover with bronze bud finial, in wood box and cover -- 11¼in. (28.5cm.) long, (minor chips).
