A pair of Japanese bronze inlaid vases
Meiji Period
of baluster shape, inlaid in silver, gold, and various coloured enamels with birds in flight amongst leafy branches, the necks with butterflies -- 5¾in. (14.1cm.) high; and a small rectangular brass box and cover decorated with birds amongst flowering branches -- 3½in. (8.9cm.) wide, (small chip to one vase).
