Meiji Period
of ovoid shape with flaring necks, decorated in various coloured enamels with birds in flight amongst lilies, peonies, cherry blossom and chrysanthemums, on speckled goldstone grounds, the interiors in turquoise -- 46¾in. (118.7cm.) high, (one vase with section of enamel missing to shoulder).
