Early 18th century
painted in iron red and gilt with French arms, flanked by peacocks and exotic birds -- 3½in. (9cms) diam; and a pair of Samson famille rose candlesticks set on square octagonal bases, decorated with scattered flowers -- 6¾in. (17cms) high.
