A Chinese export shell-shaped dish
Circa 1800
painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a central crest bearing the motto 'Nunquam non paratus', on a ground of scattered flower sprays and foliage, painted in sepia tones and gilt -- 9in. (23cms) long.
