modelled as a caparisoned elephant, standing with its head turned to its right, the saddle cloth decorated with panels of precious objects amongst flames, above foaming waves, the saddle supporting an inverted baluster vase decorated with fruit and flower sprays -- 9in. (23cms) long, (chip to end of one tusk).
