Tang Dynasty
the female figure facing forwards wearing a large helmet and long draped robe, the male figure dressed in a tunic with fine painted flower decoration, his head slightly turned to one side, their steeds standing four square, slightly leaning backwards with raised docked tails, traces of orange, red and grey pigments -- 12½in. (32cms) high, (old wear).
