Baluster form on spreading circular foot, the body chased with flowers and foliage centering a blank shield, the hinged cover with floral finial, the loop handle capped with a bacchanalian mask.

Lot Essay

John Chandler Moore later went on to work exclusively for Tiffany & Co. Bailey & Co. became Bailey, Banks & Biddle in 1878.
