Circular, on three feet, with beaded border, the field engraved with snowflake pattern and a leaf border, centering a floral wreath with initials MP, the reverse engraved From M.S.H., marked on reverse

A similar salver by Warner, also with the snowflake pattern, is in the collection of the Baltimore Museum of Art and illustrated in Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century Maryland Silver, 1975, cat. no. 125, p. 110.
