The later cut-glass orb surmounted by an urn-shaped finial and centered by an ormolu band, with sun's masks issuing the grape and vine decorated up-curved arms with acanthus drip-pans and nozzles, the orb terminating in a later cone pendant finial

The distinctive repeating palm tree motif on the central moulded band is identical to the bases of the pair of Empire Centerpieces (lot 310), which can be attributed to Feuchère's foundry.
