Early 18th Century, the base molding, hinges and lock replaced
The hinged rectangular convex-molded top above bombé-form case on bun feet, with a blue silk lined interior and inlaid throughout with Berinesque designs in brass on red-tortoiseshell, marked 74 to the underside, feet replaced, the red tortoiseshell with a later ebonized stain
