Interlaced L's enclosing date letter O for 1767 and painter's marks for Nöel to both, the cup with mark in blue and incised Sd, the saucer with mark in puce and impressed S
Painted with a wide band of pink roses on a gilt seeded ground between gilt lines and suspending a berried laurel garland entwined around a puce line
2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, the cup; 5½in. (13.9cm.) diam., the saucer (2)
