Modeled as three conjoined bowls with common tripartite bail handle entwined with gilt ribbon, the bow as a finial, decorated en suite with the preceding lot

Lot Essay

The present salt can be confirmed as from the service delivered to the queen, as Tandart is recorded as having painted the triple-salts in the Gustav III delivery.
