Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter Y for 1776 to the saucer, painter's mark for Tandart l'âiné and Vandé, gilder's mark for Boulanger, the cup with an illegible incised mark
Richly painted with a stems of roses tied with a bow suspending a bouquet, reserved within a gilt ciselé band on the turquoise ground further gilt and chased with a wide band of foliate scrolls, garlands and diaper-pattern
