Puce interlaced L's centering date letters mm for 1789, painter's mark for Buteux fils aîné to the cup, the same marks in blue to the saucer, incised 48 to the saucer
Painted with trailing fuschia between gilt-berried laurel on purple bands, the cup emplacement with a dove amidst trophies of love in a landscape vignette
