Date cypher for 1880, printed gold crowned globe and impressed 18(MINTON)78 marks, shape no. 438 and various cyphers
Modelled after a Sèvres Plateau Losange à Jours à Anses, the lozenge-shaped tray painted with flowers and fruit reserved within an oval gilt surround edged with oeil-de-perdrix and harebells, four medallions of single birds in flight at the periphery, linked by tooled fruiting oak garlands, the everted sides moulded and gilt with zig-zagged turquoise batons enclosing trefoils and forming handles at each end
