Circa 1900, printed green crowned marks to cover and foot, pattern no. V6677/MIN793, iron-red retailer's mark for Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia
Of globular form with gilt angular handles, the cover, neck and socle enamelled with graduated turquoise 'jewels' on the embossed gold ground, painted with a quatrefoil panel of a lakeside view within a seeded lozenge enriched with scroll work, the ruby ground gilt and painted with scattered sprays and scrolls, the interior powdered in gilt
