Date cypher for 1897, puce crowned orb mark, shape no. 1575, registry no. 188682, iron-red painted B.y, retailer's mark for Tiffany & Co., New York, most probably by George Owen and Henry Chair
Of teardrop form, the flared mosaic neck flanked by pierced angular handles, the shoulder intricately hand pierced, above a gilt cartouche suspending festoons of roses, the mouth, neck and foot enamelled with a band of white 'jewels'
