A DERBY IRON-RED GROUND PART TEA SERVICE
Circa 1810, iron-red crown, crossed batons and D marks, gilt pattern no. 745
Painted gilt and reserved with alternate fingers of husks on a straited gilt ground and gilt foliate garlands on an iron-red ground, comprising:
A large oval globular teapot, cover and stand, 7 5/8in. (19.4cm.) high
A spat globular teapot, cover and stand, 5in. (12.7cm.) high
A cream-jug, 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) high
A sugar-bowl, 6¾in. (17.2cm.) high
Two waste bowls, 6 3/8 in. (16.2cm.) diam.
Two large saucer dishes, 8½in. (21.6cm.) diam..
Eight large tapering cylindrical cups
Eight smaller tapering cylindrical cups
Eight saucers, 5 3/8in. (13.7cm.), diam. (34)
